Call for abstracts

Proposals are invited from central banks, national statistics offices, regional statistics authorities, international organisations and other public sector agencies, as well as academia and the private sector.

Presentations should align with the key themes for this year’s conference of Innovation, Implementation and Standards and tools.

  • SDMX in action - practical use cases and success stories
  • Improving statistical business processes using SDMX

  • Interoperability with other standards (e.g. FAIR, DDI, Geospatial)

Instructions for Conference speakers: submitting your abstract

Please send your proposals to sdmx2025@sdmx.org no later than 2 June 2025 for consideration by the Organising Committee. You will be notified of the Committee’s decision by 14 July 2025.

All speakers are required to submit an abstract for their presentation. Your abstract should be a concise summary that clearly outlines the key topics, objectives, and significance of your talk. It should help both the conference organizers and attendees understand what to expect from your session.

Guidelines for your abstract

Length: Keep it within the specified word limit (typically 150–300 words).

Content: Include the purpose of your presentation, key arguments or findings, and its relevance to the conference themes.

Clarity: Write in a clear and structured manner, avoiding unnecessary jargon.

Keywords: Provide a few relevant keywords to help categorize your presentation.
